As reported in a few places, Marv Levy is back with the Bills, assuming some front office role. Levy is a smart guy, and here's hoping that he turns the Bills around. Actually, here's hoping some of Bill Polian rubbed off on him. I didn't realize it until a few weeks ago, but Polian seems to be the common denominator behind the success of Levy led Bills, and the Marchibroda/Dungy led Colts.
I watched about 10 total minutes of the Outback Bowl and couldn't figure out why I should care. Sure, it's the Gators, but really, their season was over almost two months ago when they lost to South Carolina. The only game that anyone really cares about is the USC/Texas matchup. Also, everyone pretty much agrees that there's too many bowl games currently. Who wants to go to Boise, Idaho in the middle of December? Is your season really a success if you go 6-5 (and are thus bowl eligible)?
Me? I was done watching college football by Thanksgiving.
The Bucs win an ugly one yesterday in Tiger Stadium against New Orleans.
In a huge game, the Bucs win again in Atlanta, and will all the contenders in the SEC step forward, and all the pretenders "roll" back.
