I'm sitting here with some music playing on the Squeezebox, and Burton is wandering around the house barking randomly. I think he has trouble filtering out environmental noises when the music gets turned up real loud, so he think he hears things outside--and consequently barks. He does this when I listen to music or play movies. A little stange after all these years with deaf old BeeGee to have a dog that can hear...Oh, and today was day 1 of Project Gated, where I put up a gate and sequestered him to the kitchen. The score after one day: Burton 1 Gate 0. I came home to have him greet me at the top of the stairs and the gate lying on its side in the kitchen. Tomorrow the gate strikes back with better reinforcements to keep it upright.
